Switching is the easy part
Leaving another platform is mostly about getting your data out — and every property-management tool lets you export reports while your subscription is still active. Pull the files below from your current system, hand them to us, and we take it from there.
Export your reports, drop them with us, and we import your units, residents, leases, and financial history — with a preview you approve before anything goes live. Bring the files; we do the rest.
This isn’t a promise — it’s the Migration Hub, a real tool in your dashboard: it reads your exports, shows you a line-by-line preview diff of every unit, resident, and lease before anything commits, and rolls back if the numbers don’t look right. Imports write history only — the system can never auto-bill a migrated resident. It all lives inside the PMS Stack module.
What to export, by system
AppFolio
Mapped to the columnThe golden path — we've mapped these exports to the column.
- 1Rent roll (today's snapshot)Reports → Rent Roll → Export to Excel. Include non-revenue units so we bring your vacant units over too.
- 2Income statement, 12-month (per year of history you want)Reports → Income Statement, set the range to 12 months, choose the detail view, export to Excel.
- 3Tenant directory (emails + phones)Reports → Tenant Directory. Rent rolls omit contact info, so this is the piece that carries residents' emails and phones.
- 4Signed lease PDFsDownload the lease documents however they come out of your AppFolio document store.
- 5Vendor list (if you're moving accounting too)Export the vendor list with 1099 flags.
We built our importer against real AppFolio exports, so your rent roll and 12-month income statement land cleanly — vacant units, group subtotals, and all.
Buildium
Rent roll, financials, and lease docs export from the Reports area.
- 1Rent rollBuildium's Rent Roll report exports to CSV/XLSX (and PDF) from the Reports area.
- 2Income statement / general ledgerFinancial reports export to CSV/XLSX; the chart of accounts is account-number-first, which our importer maps for you.
- 3Tenant + lease reportsTenant and lease reports are exportable; bring whichever carries emails and phones.
- 4Lease documents + vendor directoryDocuments download per lease; the vendor directory exports for accounting moves.
Exact menu labels vary by Buildium plan — send us whatever your Reports area produces and we'll take it from there.
Yardi (Breeze / Voyager)
Excel report exports — layouts vary per shop; that's fine.
- 1Rent rollYardi exports rent-roll reports to Excel. Voyager column layouts are often custom to your shop — our importer reads the headers rather than assuming a fixed shape.
- 2Financials (T-12 / P&L)Financial reports export to Excel; custom report writers produce the widest variance, and our column-mapping handles that.
- 3Resident directory + lease docsExport the resident directory for contacts and download lease documents as they come.
Yardi's report writer means no two exports look alike. Send yours as-is — variance is exactly what our importer is built for.
RealPage OneSite
Rent-roll export with a header set we already recognize.
- 1Rent rollExport the rent-roll report to Excel/CSV. We already recognize OneSite's column set (unit, name, billing amount, deposits on hand, and more).
- 2Resident + lease detailExport the same report family for resident and lease information; include contact columns where available.
- 3Lease documentsDownload signed lease PDFs from your document store.
OneSite rent-roll headers are ones we've mapped before, so the units + residents come across smoothly.
Rent Manager
Report-writer Excel/CSV exports.
- 1Rent rollRent Manager's report writer exports rent-roll data to Excel/CSV.
- 2Financials (GL / P&L)Financial and general-ledger reports export from the report writer.
- 3Residents + lease docs + vendorsExport resident/lease reports and the vendor list; download lease documents as they come.
Rent Manager gives you flexible report exports — send the ones for rent roll, financials, and residents and we'll map them.
TurboTenant
Small portfolios move fast — there's not much to bring.
- 1Tenant list + lease termsTurboTenant doesn't have a true rent roll; export your tenant contact list and lease terms per property.
- 2Payment / expense logsExport whatever payment or expense CSVs it offers — TurboTenant is light on financial history by design, so a full T-12 usually doesn't exist.
- 3Lease PDFsDownload your signed lease PDFs (their templates).
TurboTenant portfolios tend to be small, so there's little data to move — most of the switch is just bringing your leases over.
Plus your accounting, however you keep it
Keep your books in QuickBooks, a spreadsheet, or PDFs your accountant sends? Bring your P&L exports, 12-month income statements, and owner workbooks too — our importer reads the shape of the file rather than expecting a specific format.
And whenever you want, it leaves just as easily
Your data is yours. Lease Velocity exports your rent roll and 12-month financials in the same AppFolio-shaped files you'd bring in — no lock-in, no export fees, no hostage-taking. Easy to move in; easy to move out.
